Edge Protection: Added plastic stripping to protect the edges of your sign from repeated handling as well as the hands of the spinner. Edge protection is added to the top and bottom of the sign only – where the sign is handled; it is not added on all sides. 
 
Edge protection is primarily needed if you have an experienced spinner who is actively flipping and spinning your sign. If your sign will simply be held, edge protection may not be neccessary but could still help extend the life of your spinner sign.
